Dr Rosemary J Thomas

I'm working as a User Experience Researcher on the CONSUS project which is jointly funded by Science Foundation Ireland and Origin Enterprises. I work in the School of Computer Science at University College Dublin investigating on technology acceptance in the domain of eAgriculture.

I have a PhD in Computing Science from University of Aberdeen. I was also a STEM Ambassador.

Recently, I worked as a Programming Analyst (Research Assistant) on the project WeValueFood at The Institute for Global Food Security, Queen's University Belfast awarded by The European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT).

Before that, I worked as a User Researcher on the project SSPEDI (Supporting Security Policy with Effective Digital Intervention) awarded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).


I graduated with distinction in M.Sc. Information Technology from Heriot-Watt University. Before that, I worked over three years in Business Analysis and Business Development.
